Covid protocols:
 

Vaccinated individuals are not required to mask at any time.

 

Campers and guests who are not vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask any time they are off their court. Masking is encouraged of unvaccinated individuals when entering and exiting the building, during large group activities, going to the bathroom, and any time a camper may be around someone outside their small group.

 

 

Volleyball shoes, t-shirts, shorts/spandex, socks and knee pads. For residents, the dorm provides towels, linens and soap. The gym gets hot so you might go through more than 1 shirt per session. The dorms are air conditioned and provide bed linens, blankets and pillows. You may bring extra food, but dorm rooms do not have refrigerators. You may want to bring money for snacks at night. We will also be selling Cyclone t-shirts, shorts and sweatshirts.

If you can only come for part of a camp we would still love to have you. Contact Michelle Aggen, maggen@iastate.edu to check to see what the pro-rated rate would be. We would only pro-rate it if you were to miss 2 or more sessions.

We will guarantee a 10:1 ratio. Almost all courts will have 12-14 campers per court with 2 court coaches.

Up to seven days before the camp you registered for begins, you may receive 90% refund (10% administrative charge) in the event of illness, injury, or family emergency.

From six to one day before the camp you registered for begins, you may receive 50% refund (50% administrative charges) in the event of illness, injury, or family emergency.

Once the first day of the camp you registered for begins, there is no refund in the event of illness, injury, or family emergency.

 

Team camp registrations may not be refundable. 

Residents stay in the dorms at night and eat all of their meals at camp. Commuters go home at night and only eat lunch and dinner at camp - they eat breakfast at home.

Our camps are always open for parents to come and watch. There is some room on the baseline of each court for parents to watch - bring your own chair!

Parking is available for free at Hilton Coliseum, which is across the street from the dorms and about three blocks away from the Lied Rec Center and the Forker Building. The Forker Building parking lot is Lot 50A and is free after 5:30 p.m. and on weekends. Lot 100 is next to the Lied Rec Center and is a pay lot. Overnight campers will receive a parking pass at check in to park at the dorm. Be sure to check lot signs for parking restrictions.

There will be a first aid provider at all of the sites for all of the sessions. There will also be a first aid provider in the residence halls.

You will receive a camp confirmation email within 48 hours upon your submitting your registration. If you do not receive or have lost this email, you can find this information under “Confirmation Information” on the website’s homepage. Our first aid providers are responsible for holding and distributing camper’s prescription medication.

The medication MUST be in its original packaging containing the name of the patient.

Our first aid providers are NOT allowed to distribute non-prescription medication, such as aspirin or ibuprofen.

The grades listed in the camp description refer to the grade the participant will be entering this coming fall.
